His public statements on Ukraine correspond with the rhetoric of Russian officials and propagandists. Sergey Kurginyan systematically questions Ukraine’s territorial integrity, has called for Ukraine’s occupation and denazification by Russia. He has publicly expressed support for Russia’s sham referenda for including Ukrainian sovereign territories into Russia.
