Boris Kozhevnikov is a Deputy Chairman of the Appellate Military Court of Russia.
As deputy chairman of the Appellate Military Court of Russia, Boris Kozhevnikov rejected the appeal of Alexei Gorinov, a former municipal deputy in the Krasnoselsky district of Moscow, against a politically motivated sentence. In a procedurally flawed trial, Alexei Gorinov was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony under Article 205.2 of the Russian Criminal Code for “justification of terrorism”. Alexei Gorinov’s sentence was based on statements he made in a conversation with his cellmates in which he allegedly recognised that Crimea was Ukrainian territory and the Azov regiment was part of the Ukrainian army. Furthermore, Kozhevnikov upheld the sentences of imprisonment for Andrei Boyarshinov, Ibragim Orudzhev, Alexei Nuriev and Roman Nasryev on politically motivated charges in alleged terrorism related cases.

No company role is recorded for this person. Roles come from national business registers, and a sanctioned individual will usually have none here — the registers this system reads cover a different set of countries from the sanctions lists.
Sanctioned by 1 authority: EU. Confirmed present in a source snapshot within the last 90 days.
Russia is named on a jurisdiction designation list — European Commission, EU list of high-risk third countries (AMLD Art. 9), section IV: “High-risk third countries which are not identified as being subject to calls for action or increased monitoring by the FATF, but whose membership in that international standard-setter is suspended”. The designation is of the jurisdiction, not of this record.
Not scored
Not scored. No company role is recorded for this person, which is an absence of records rather than a finding.
Not scored. The evidence ledger records which sources were read for a COMPANY; it holds no per-person rows, so there is no coverage figure to price in here. The sources behind this record are listed under Evidence.
Not scored. Media coverage is not linked to individuals in this system at all, only to companies, and even there it covers a small fraction of the records.
Band drawn from the components that could be measured, methodology v5. The unscored ones above are gaps in what was read, not findings of nothing. Not a compliance determination — check the underlying listings before acting on anything here.
No company role is recorded for this person.
No identity document is recorded. Business registers publish names and roles, not passport or national-ID numbers — those come only from sanctions lists.
Transliterations and name orders differ between authorities. They are kept as published rather than normalised into one spelling, because the spelling is part of what each source actually said.
Records are matched into one person only on a shared identity document, or by a human reviewer — never on name similarity alone. How this works. Not legal or compliance advice: check the originals before acting on anything here.
